With onsite instruction in Gyroplanes, Microlights and traditional Fixed Wing aircraft, you can train in your own aircraft or in modern school aircraft.

Located clear of controlled airspace, a short taxi time to the active runway, with relatively few aircraft movements per day and a short airfield circuit, you’ll get more flying in at Rufforth East per hour, helping accelerate your learning towards issue of your Private Pilots License or class/type rating.

Engineering

Rufforth East houses onsite engineering services for Fixed-Wing LAA Aircraft, Fixed-Wing and Flex-Wing Microlights operating under the BMAA regime and all types of factory built Gyroplanes.
